1 DAY ASIANCER Interview😎

Hello all! We want to share our special interview with the 2 adorable guests from Job fair 2023. We met Maroussia and Julie in Kotra Job fair on August, and those 2 girls were the winner of our SNS event at that time. So, we invited winners to office and had an interview with them! We hope that it was unforgettable memory for Maroussia and Julie also-

Q. When did you come to Korea and why?
Maroussia: I came in Korea in November 2022.
Julie: I came in Korea 2 months ago and I will stay here for one year.
Q. What impressed you the most when you first landed in Korea?
Maroussia: I was in Thailand before and one thing that struck me in comparison was how calm Korea is. In the center of a city like Seoul, you can find quiet and peaceful places.
Q. What kind of Korean culture fascinates you the most?
Julie: As I did my Master’s thesis on hanbok, I am especially interested in fashion and traditional culture. In order to present to the jury the specificities of hanboks, I had to buy several of them, so I really enjoy this specific aspect of Korean culture.
Maroussia: For me, I am interested in Korean beauty and tourism. My curiosity led me to discover the differences between skincare in France and Korea, and I found out that Korea is more innovative and is focused on layers of specific ingredients and the French one is focused on all-in-one cosmetics. Skincare is one of my greatest interests.
Q. What do you think about the office? Have you visited the neighborhood?
Julie: While coming to the office, we were talking about how great the neighborhood is. There are lots of individual artisanal shops, even in Asiance’s building, and overall the area is very different from Gangnam where there are a lot of offices. We were pleased to see that Asiance is in Jung-gu area.
Q. What fact about Asiance caught your attention?
Maroussia: As I studied digital marketing I was looking for a company that works in this field. The fact that the agency is French-Korean also caught my attention.
Julie: For me, as a real passionate about fashion, I became more curious about Asiance when I saw the clients you work with.
Q. Do you see yourself working in Korea in the future? If so, what are your motivations?
Maroussia: For sure! Korea is a country that is constantly evolving and being in such a fast-paced environment is very enriching so we want to try and have a job in Korea.
Julie: I am very curious about Korea and I feel like there is a lot of opportunities for jobs related to luxury so that is why I am interested in working here
Q. What trends in Korea are you curious about/ interested in?
Julie: I am always curious about differences in culture. In France, the relation to luxury is much more on the minimalist side while the Korean culture is more oriented towards showing-off, because it defines social standards. While thinking about this, I became more interested in luxury trends in Korea, including Old Money style.
Q. If you can work in Asiance, will you join and work with us? What kind of position are you interested in?
Maroussia: I would be interested in joining the marketing team. I am also interested in consulting.
Julie: I am a creative person, so I would be interested in design.
Q. If you had to summarize today’s visit in one word, what would it be?
Maroussia: Powerful. Meeting so many people gave us more motivation to reach our goals.
Julie: Discover. During the day we were able to discover the real meaning of Asiance and what it is really to work at Asiance.

How was the interview with those 2 special guests?
